Olukotun Opeyemi Matthew is a graduate of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology in Ogbomoso, Oyo State, Nigeria (2012) with a B.tech in Fine and Applied Art. His area of specialization is painting.
Currently, Olukotun is completing an internship at the Universal Studios of Art, National Theatre Iganmu. He is a figurative artist who appeals to figures and faces.
ARTIST STATEMENT "Art is the only tool for me to be heard"My works celebrate the humans! The amazing facial expressions, body gestures, extreme enthusiasm to work, behaviours, and most importantly, passion! The rendition of colours on my artworks has the possibilities to challenge one's perception, perspective, and assumptions. However, my style is still evolving.
